This pre-conference event will bring together leaders and stakeholders addressing climate change as an imperative issue for health centers. We will explore the impacts of climate change on health centers and health center patients from diverse perspectives including:
- Climate change as a health issue
- Advocacy and sustainable infrastructure for health centers
- Climate change as an environmental justice and health equity issue
Participants will benefit from panel presentations as well as breakout discussions in small groups. You will leave with new ideas for engaging your health center in climate change work, and effective strategies to address the effects of climate change and advocate for change.
