CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates is excited to host this 60-minute session to help you get the most out of National Health Center Week (NHCW) 2017! During this session, staff will provide guidance on utilizing the California-specific toolkit to maximize NHCW opportunities to engage elected officials, patients, health center staff, board members, and the community. The toolkit will include California-specific outreach materials for community health centers to showcase how Medicaid has contributed to health centers long success in providing access to affordable, high quality, cost effective healthcare to medically vulnerable and underserved people throughout California. Join us as we also discuss best practices for collecting patient stories and increasing your social media and advocacy efforts during NHCW 2017.

National Health Center Week is the annual celebration and recognition of health centers and their staff for the incredible day-to-day work they do in communities across the country. This year’s NHCW theme is America’s Health Centers: The Key to Healthier Communities.
